Guided & printable

Plan the trip. Find the fish. Feel the fight.

Tell us what you’re after and when. FishFig builds a personalized, printable trip plan — the live fish-run status for your date, waters to try, the license you need, and a gear checklist you can tick off at the truck. No sign-up, no two plans alike.

Not legal advice. FishFig is an informational guide. License fees, size/bag limits, and seasons change yearly and vary by water, species, and zone. Always confirm the current rule with the state agency (linked on every regulations page) before you buy a license or keep fish. When in doubt, check the official source.

Frequently asked questions

Does the planner know my local season?

It shows the general U.S. mainland fish-run window for your species and date. Exact timing shifts by state and water — the plan links straight to the official agency so you can confirm seasons and closures.

Can I print or save the plan?

Yes. Hit “Print / Save as PDF” and your browser’s dialog opens. The page is styled so only your plan prints — nav, buttons, and footer are hidden.

Why does it ask for time of day?

Fish feed on light and temperature. Dawn, dusk, and night are often the best bites — the plan tailors a conditions tip to your choice.

Is the gear list specific to my fish?

Yes. Rod power, reel, line, lures, and rigs come from FishFig’s species guide for the fish you picked, plus a few universal essentials.
